Mila Muniz, 13, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Boston Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts, with her loving parents by her side, following a courageous battle with a brain tumor.

Mila was deeply loved by her family and by the many lives she touched throughout her all-too-short life. Her family will be sharing more about the beautiful and remarkable young person she was in a complete obituary, which will be published in the coming days.

Family and friends are invited to gather at St. John Paul II catholic Church, Monday, July 27, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a visitation followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and reception.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Mila consider supporting a foundation being established in her memory. Additional information regarding the foundation and how to contribute will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
