Richard Dubnick

October 31, 1951 — November 25, 2021

Rich passed away November 25, 2021, after a seven-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born October 31, 1951, in Chicago, IL.

Rich is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Wanda; daughter Lisa (Jason), sons Mike (Megan) and Robert; stepchildren Greg (Tricia) and Sara (Terry); grandchildren Kyle, Madison, Bailey, Cari, Olivia, Wyatt, and Penelope; his brother Chic Dubnick. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Margaret Dubnick and his brothers Tom and Dave.

Rich proudly celebrated 20 years of service at Southeastern Grocers.  During his life and career his passion was volunteering at different organizations, churches, and schools. His life may have been cut short, but he touched the hearts of many while he was with us.  More than anything Rich enjoyed spending quality time with his family and spoiling the grandkids with Disney vacations (when he wasn’t on the golf course!).

A Gathering will be held from 4pm-8pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home (3600 Third St South, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250) with a Memorial Service on December 2, 2021, at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church (9800 Baymeadows Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32256) with Reverend David Keegan as the Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (see link below).
