Constance Foster

Constance Ann Foster, 74, passed away August 26, 2021. Born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Luis Salazar and Consuelo Aranda, her family eventually settled in Chicago, Illinois. Connie attended school and worked in Chicago where she met and married Seaman Patrick M. Foster. Their union was strong for nearly 50 years.

Connie battled an array of medical conditions for 20 years. Her grace through adversity during this time was admirable. She never surrendered until the end. Connie will always be remembered for her contagious smile that would warm up the room, as anyone who had the chance to meet her would agree. She is survived by her loving husband (Patrick), her son Patrick, granddaughter Milana, brother Carlos, and sisters Mary, Alice, and Judy.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on September 17, 2021 from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
