Christopher Crews

October 27, 1982 — September 3, 2021

Christopher Lane Crews, 38, went to meet his Heavenly Father on September 3rd, 2021, surrounded by his family, who loved him. Chris was born and raised in Atlantic Beach, Fl. He graduated from Fletcher High School, the Police Academy, and the Jax Theological Seminary. He worked for the City of Atlantic Beach as the dog catcher, then dispatcher and then became a police officer. He was currently employed at DAK resources. Chris served as Welcome Team leader and disciple group leader at his church Eleven 22. He loved his Bible studies with the disciple group on the boat. His greatest joy was helping others. He was always ready to go when his Bobba, Gaga, Aunt Becky, Aunt Cindy or Aunt Gail needed him.

He was preceded in death by his two grandaddies, Harry A. Royce Jr and Ozzie Crews; cousin, Bonnie Stanley; Uncle Mark Stanley. He is survived by his parents, Randy and Julie Crews; his sisters, Mandy Barnes (Tim) and Brooke Graham (Nick); nieces, Isla and Sienna; nephew, Royce; grandmothers, Marjorie Royce (Bobba) and Laverne Crews (Gaga) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends who will miss him.

A memorial service will be held on September 12th at 2pm at The Church of Eleven 22 San Pablo campus. In lieu of flowers please consider donating in Chris’ memory to The Safe Harbor Boys Home, 4772 Safe Harbor Way Jacksonville, FL 32226 or Kairos-PCI-PO Box 3 Orange Park, FL.
