Carrie Ann Gilbert Steinmeyer, a lifetime resident of the Jacksonville Beaches, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on January 19, 2022 due to complications from an unexpected aneurysm. Carrie was born January 3, 1971 in Jacksonville Florida and raised in Neptune Beach. She attended San Pablo Elementary, Fletcher Junior High, Fletcher High School and attended UNF.

Carrie is survived by her sons Gage Steinmeyer and Reid Steinmeyer, mother Carol Rhodes, father Cantrell Gilbert and many faithful friends.

Carrie taught preschool at Community Presbyterian Pre-Kindergarten for nine years and was an active member of the San Pablo and Fletcher PTA for over ten years. She served as a PTA president at San Pablo Elementary.

Carrie was committed to serving her community, her church and activities surrounding her children. She was an active member of Community Presbyterian Church and will be missed by all the lives she touched.

Carrie was a smart, beautiful, kind and compassionate woman bringing joy to all who knew her. She deeply loved her children and dedicated her life to raising her two excellent sons Gage and Reid.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday. January 29, 2022, at 1 PM located at Community Presbyterian Church, 150 Sherry Dr, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. At the families' request, masks will be required. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carrie’s memory to Community Presbyterian Church’s memorial garden.
