Ace was a man of simple joys and unforgettable stories. An avid golfer, he achieved the rare feat of seven holes-in-one, a bragging right he carried with pride. He was also known as the family's lottery scratch-off king and a part-time poker star, always ready with a grin, a good hand, and a bit of luck.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Doris Edlin; his children, Cheryl Edlin (Kendall), Richard Edlin II (Crystal), and Misty Adams; his sister, Shirley Edlin (Judy); his brothers, Jack Clifton (Susan) and Jimmy Edlin (Janet); as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who will carry forward his stories, laughter, and legacy.
