Theresa Henderson

Theresa Henderson, 79, passed away peacefully at Avante-Jacksonville Beach, Florida on Sunday, November 21, 2021.  She was born on April 29, 1942, in McKinney, Texas.  For the last 40+ years, she resided in Florida.

She lived a full, happy life and was extremely proud to be a native Texan.  Her pride, joy and greatest accomplishment was found in raising her children, watching her grandchildren grow and caring for her beloved dogs.  Theresa touched many lives throughout her life and will be missed dearly.

Theresa is survived by her three wonderful children, Lisa (Steve) Snellen, Rayna Van Nest, Tommy Henderson; grandchildren, Tyler (Erin) Van Nest, Whitney (Kyle) Feldhusen, Steven Snellen, Kayla Van Nest, Luke Henderson; and great-granddaughters, Brynlie and Zahra.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Avante-Jacksonville Beach, Florida for the care provided for Theresa over the past year and a half.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society.

A private service will be held for the family.
