Susan Hulett Miller passed away April 28, 2026, at age 83 after a valiant struggle against multiple health issues. Born September 26, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Susan grew up in Jacksonville Beach as one of seven children in the Hulett family, which has deep roots in the Beaches and Jacksonville communities. She graduated from Fletcher High School in 1960, where she co-founded the girls’ tennis team, among other extracurricular activities. She excelled in tennis and remained an avid player for many years, achieving statewide recognition as both a junior player and as an adult. She also won many local tournaments and worked as a tennis instructor through the Community School Program. She was a longtime member of Selva Marina Country Club and a founding member of The Racquet Club. Outside of her beloved sport, she was a founding board member of Youth of the Beaches Arts Guild, a member of the Beefeaters Club, and participated in many other activities in the Beaches community that she so loved. She retired from Medical Services Company and enjoyed her retirement years traveling with her husband, Bob, and her daughters, and spending time with her extended family as much as possible, especially her grandchildren. Susan’s happy place was the Blue Ridge Mountains, where she spent time whenever possible.
Susan was predeceased by her husband, Robert Miller, and her sister, Frances English. She is survived by her daughters, Audrey Bradshaw (Larry Csonka), Patricia Bradshaw (Justin Watkins), Erin Bradshaw (Deryck Mosley), and stepdaughter, Brenda Bradshaw; granddaughters, LaTosha Csonka, Isabella Rodriguez, and Maria Rodriguez; great grandchild, Merida Csonka; her first husband, Douglas Bradshaw; and her siblings, Judy Hulett, Earle C. Hulett III, Christine Verdin, Jayne Barkoskie and Phyllis Nadeau.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Beaches Museum Chapel, 505 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at Sandbar at SpringHill Suites, 465 1st St. N., Jacksonville Beach, FL.
