In loving Memory of Soledad Panganiban Penalba

November 1, 1925 – March 11, 2026

With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Soledad Panganiban Penalba, who went home to the Lord on March 11, 2026, at the remarkable age of 100. Soledad was born on November 1, 1925, in Indang, Cavite, Philippines, and later made her home in Atlantic Beach, Florida, where she was surrounded by the love of her family in her final days. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Pedro Penalba (deceased), Lilia, Rosita, Robert (deceased), Emmanuel, Danilo, Vilma (deceased), and Nerissa. Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her love, and devotion to her family. In her younger years, she found joy in cooking and sewing, caring for those around her in both simple and meaningful ways. Her home was a place of warmth, nourishment, and togetherness.

Soledad was the proud matriarch of the Panganiban, Uamil, and Penalba families. She was the heart of generations – a source of wisdom, resilience, and unconditional love. Her presence brought comfort, her strength held the family together, and her legacy will live on in all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Mayport Road. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her life, celebrate her legacy, and pray for the eternal rest of her soul. Though she will be deeply missed, we find peace in knowing she live a full and beautiful life, and that her love will remain with us always.
