Ruth Barbara Cinque

Ruth Barbara Cinque, 86, passed away on April 18, 2026. She was born September 16, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in Detroit and moved to Fort Myers, Florida, in 1974 before moving to Orlando in 1979 where she worked for Disney Resorts for 29 years. She was awarded Employee of the Year over 650 other candidates. 

She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, spending time with her church family at St. John Vianney Catholic Church and her immediate family most of all.

Ruth is survived by her son, Kevin M. Guthard and his wife, Randi Smith; her daughter-in-law, Sue M. Guthard; grandchildren: Heather (Mike) Woodward, Kevin (Bethany) Guthard, Darlene Guthard (Chris Sheffield); great-grandchildren: Matthew, Jovanni, Jack, Grace, Hannah and Jacob. She was predeceased by her fiancé, Joe Litkenhus.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Charles Bemis as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Shrine of St. Jude Claretian Missionaries.
