Roberta Elaine "Robin" Kloker, affectionately known to all as Robin, passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, vibrant energy, and a deep love for the simple joys of life.
Born and raised across both New Jersey and California, Robin brought a sunny coastal spirit wherever she went. In 1982, she made Jacksonville, Florida her home, eventually settling into the beach life she so deeply cherished. There was nowhere she felt more at ease than near the ocean, surrounded by the coastal community and sunshine she loved.
Robin had a generous heart, an infectious curiosity, and a soul tied to rhythm and song. Above all her passions, she was a true jazz aficionado—there was nothing she loved more than getting lost in the syncopated rhythms, rich melodies, and soulful energy of a live jazz performance. At home, she found immense joy in cultivating her collection of succulents and cacti and doting on her beloved dogs, who were genuinely part of her family. Eager to connect with others, she also enjoyed taking yoga classes and joined a local book club.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark Kloker, and her beloved children, daughter Nicole Kurowsky and son Kevin Kloker, along with her cherished pets and a wide circle of friends who will miss her brightness dearly.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life to honor and remember Robin on Saturday, August 8th at 2:00 PM at: Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to a local animal rescue or shelter of your choice, honoring Robin’s lifelong passion for her furry companions
