Richard Arthur Lawson, 80, passed away on March 19, 2026. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, grew up in Mequon, Wisconsin and retired to Jacksonville in 2000.

After serving six years in the U.S. Air Force, Dick built a successful career in paper and packaging sales. In retirement, he enjoyed golf with friends and boating with the Queens Harbour Yacht Club, activities that brought lasting joy to him and his family.

Dick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Marilyn, sons, William (Courtney), Peter (Patricia) and son in law, Nabil Hammam. His greatest joy was spending time with his wonderful grandchildren, Milo, Evan, Charlotte, Wesly, Matthew, Autumn, Stella and Scarlett, and his niece, Megan (Ben) and grandnephews, Rowan and Luca. He was predeceased by his beautiful daughter, Kristy Hammam.
