Paula Jean Givler, 54, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, passed away on April 2nd, leaving behind a legacy of love, connection, and a life lived fully and vibrantly. Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, Paula brought her warmth, energy, and unmistakable spirit everywhere she went.

Paula was a devoted mother to her daughter, Tamara, who was the center of her world and will carry forward her strength, love, and legacy. She is also survived by her four siblings, Jody, Craig, Mark, and Peter, along with many extended family members, dear friends, and a wide community who felt like family to her.

Professionally, Paula built an impressive and respected career in real estate as both a property manager and licensed agent. She was deeply involved in the Northeast Florida real estate community, serving as President of the Women’s Council of Realtors in 2019 and as a District Vice President. Paula was a longtime member and Beaches Council Chair for NEFAR, served three years on the MLS Board, chaired Property Management in her final year, and was an active member and investor in ARPAC. To know Paula professionally was to know someone who didn’t just network, she connected, uplifted, and brought people together in a way that was entirely her own.

Outside of work, Paula lived life with enthusiasm and heart. She loved her family fiercely, adored her dogs and cats, and found joy in being outdoors, whether paddle boarding, walking her beloved Luna along the beaches, or spending time on the water. She was a proud member of the Hurricanes Dragon Boat team, participated in countless Jacksonville 5Ks, and was actively involved in Best Buddies and local pet events. If there was a real estate event, live music, happy hour, or gathering with friends, Paula was likely there and often the one making it more fun.

Known for her outgoing personality, genuine kindness, and unforgettable presence, Paula never met a stranger that did not immediately love her. She was a gifted conversationalist, a loyal friend, and someone who showed up for others in meaningful ways. Her fiery red hair earned her the nickname “Red” among many who loved her, and her bright smile and contagious laugh will be remembered always.

Paula’s impact extends far beyond her career. She leaves behind a daughter who embodies her love, a community that felt her presence deeply, and friendships that will carry her memory forward for years to come.

A celebration of Paula’s life will be held on May 2nd from 2:00–6:00 PM at The Moorings. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and honor her life.

In lieu of other arrangements, donations may be made to a GoFundMe and flowers may be sent to 9325 Venezia Plantation Drive, Orlando, FL 32829.

Your life was a blessing; your memory is a treasure we will have forever. Lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved you.
