LEONARD Michael W. Leonard, Jr., 40, a resident of Atlantic Beach, passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Jacksonville. A lifelong resident of Jacksonville and the Beaches, Michael was born on June 19, 1975 to Barbara Mitchell Leonard and Michael W. Leonard, Sr. Michael grew up in Arlington and graduated from Sandalwood High School. He is survived by his parents and stepmother, Debbie Leonard; grandfather, Robert Daddy Bob Mitchell; sister, Carrie Jones (Craig); step-brother, James Taylor; nephews, Trey and Clark Jones; and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jo Ellen Mitchell and William and Marie Leonard; and his uncle, Richard Leonard. A private celebration will be held at a later date.
