Maureen Karen Schultz was born on November 3, 1969 in Elyria, Ohio. She grew up in Vermilion, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in Ohio. She lived in Columbus and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2015. Her most recent role was a Product Manager at Intercontinental Exchange, formerly Black Knight. She received many accolades throughout her career.
Despite health constraints, Maureen happily lived a full and active life with many dear friends to share good times. Maureen enjoyed life having seltzers on the driveway, traveling and being with family and friends. She dearly loved her pets Kacey and Puddin. Maureen found spiritual nurture in her community at the Church of Eleven22 and was incredible at always smiling and living life to its fullest. She was very courageous and a blessing to all who knew her. She is survived by her parents, Philip and Karen Schultz; her brother, Mark Schultz (Kristina); and her sister, Michelle Kibble (Matt). Other surviving family members include nieces Olivia Schultz and Morgan Kibble; nephews Charles “Tyler” Kibble and Grant Schultz; aunts Myra Byczynski, Marilyn Skidmore, and Dianne Schultz; uncle Nathan Miller (Kim Pace); grandmother Joan Miller; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by Floyd Miller, Olive Miller, Elizabeth and Clifford Schultz, Wilomene Yonkof, and Ruby Brunnell. Her uncle, Paul Schultz, passed away shortly after her death. She had many dear friends throughout her life that she loved.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Maureen on Friday, October 30th at 11:00 a.m. held at the Church of Eleven22 (San Pablo Campus, 14286 Beach Blvd. #2, Jacksonville). In lieu of flowers, you are invited to donate to Friends at NIH: https://www.friendsatnih.org/
