Mary Capriglione Mealer, 65, passed away on January 15, 2026. She was born on June 29, 1960, in Queens, New York, and grew up in Ozone Park, NY. In 1978, she moved to Southeast Florida to be with her future husband, John.

Mary worked in real estate at the beginning of her and John’s new life down in South Florida for a short while before achieving her main goal in life, becoming a mother. From that point on, she devoted herself to raising her children, nurturing every aspect of their lives. She brought magic to those around her. Those who remember Mary, remember her most for her overwhelming love for family and friends, her cooking and how she always saw the good in everybody.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, John; her son, Christopher James; her daughter, Nichole; her stepchildren, John Thomas II and Kelly; her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, and Jonathan; and her dear sisters Cecilia and Annie.
