Maria Piccialli Varriale

Maria Piccialli Varriale passed away peacefully in her home, September 14, 2022. She was born March 4, 1932 in Naples, Italy, the daughter of Alfonso and Elisabetta Piccialli. She has lived in Jacksonville, Florida for the past 28 years to be near her 3 daughters. She was one of a kind mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Maria was a social butterfly, a great conversationalist, and a fantastic cook. She loved all things creative and beautiful. Art, music, and nature were her passions.

Maria is predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Amedeo Varriale. She will be missed dearly by her four children, Renato Varriale and family, Flavia Cullen and family, Marina Hawk and family, Paola Smith and family as well as by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

A Rite of Committal will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery, in Jacksonville, Florida, at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 24 with Reverend William Kelly as celebrant.
