With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life of Kile Gilmer whose adventurous spirit, contagious smile, and kind heart touched everyone fortunate enough to have known him or to have crossed his path. From an early age, he embraced life with fearless enthusiasm whether it was on a skateboard, on a surfboard catching a wave or chasing a sunset. Kile was inspired by outdoor adventures, nature, music and his love for his family, friends and animals. He loved his dog Piper that was always by his side and enjoyed taking her on outdoor adventures. He loved taking trips and going on adventures with his family and his friends whether it be a surf trip or a simple trail walk. He found peace beneath open skies, joy in the sound of waves and freedom whenever adventure called. Nature and outdoors isn’t something he just loved it's where he felt at home.
To know Kile was to laugh, to smile. Kile's laughter was infectious, his smile is unforgettable, his optimism was unwavering, and his love for his family and friends was unmeasurable. His soul was kind to all people and living things. He was kind, funny, loved to laugh, courageous and fearless.
As we remember Kile, we choose not to focus on the length of his life but the extraordinary way he lived it, with it with courage, laughter, compassion, adventure and the people in the world around him. The impact he made on everyone that knew him will last forever. Kile had so many countless adventures with his family and friends that everyone has a story or memory that will forever and leave a mark in our memories.
We invite family and friends to honor Kile, Celebrate his life, share short stories, laughter and memories that reflect the incredible person that he was. In Kile's memory please enjoy an outdoor adventure, catch a wave, ride a skateboard, catch a sunset, walk a trail and simply embrace life with the same adventurous spirit that they he carried every day.
May we all find comfort knowing that Kile's light will continue to shine bright in every wave, every breeze, every sunset and every heart that he touched.
Forever loved, forever remembered, forever free. We love you Avocado!
