Kevin M. McCallon, 61, passed away on October 9, 2019. He was born in Paducah, KY on January 25, 1958. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. He was also employed with FRCSE at NAS Jax for 17 years and enjoyed being a member of both the American legion and the Forty and Eight as Chef de Gar for over 20 years.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Deborrah; his brother, Chris; his children, Celeste (Robby) Bryant, Adriane (Matthew) DiLullo, Richard (Iliana) Perry and Lyndsey (Shane) Williams; his aunt, Velda (Jim) Carbonel; his great uncle, Dr. Melchor Carbonell; his cousin, Cheryl Earles Meier; and his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

He is predeceased by his beloved son, Forest; his father, Billy Jack McCallon; and his mother, Rose Dublin Carbonel.

A visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Sunday, October 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Quinn Shalz Family Funeral Home of Jacksonville Beach. The funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m., Tuesday, October 15th at the funeral home followed by a procession to Jacksonville National Cemetery for interment.
