Kathryn Mary Huffman, 83, of Atlantic Beach, FL passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Kathryn was born on April 22, 1933 in Lancaster, PA to John & Violet Wiebush. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Huffman Rodriguez and two sisters, Helene C. Aurand and Janet R. Nehr. She is survived by 4 sisters, her twin sister Dorothy Troop, Patricia A. Murray, June McLaughlin & Susanna Mooney, of Lancaster, PA; brother, Stephen Wiebush of Allentown, PA; sons, Edward E. Huffman of Jacksonville, FL and Thomas H. Huffman (Debi) of Neptune Beach, FL; grandchildren, Hayley Huffman, Malori Rodriguiz Futral (Nate), Tyler Huffman & Katy Huffman Robinson (Cody);2 great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Kathryn was a consummate athlete in swimming, bowling, softball, tennis and golf. Surviving cancer, Kathryn succumbed to her battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Memorial donations may be made in Kathryn’s name to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
