Jewell R. Greene

“Jewel Greene” passed away peacefully 12-30-2025 at 12:05 am. Jewel is survived by her two twin sons, Jeffery and Michael Somers. 

Jewell was the daughter from her father Stobo Gaston and Hannah Gaston Engleberg – Strickland. 

Jewel was a cosmetology instructor at American Hairstyling Academy for 48 years until retirement in 2015.

 Jewel was a devout Christian and attended Palms Presbyterian church in Jax Beach, FL earlier in life.

 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.” – 2 Timothy 4:7-8
