Jeanette Mackert

Jeanette I. Mackert passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in Jacksonville Florida.

Jeannie was born in Waycross, Georgia on March 26th of 1932 and became a long-term resident of Florida. She was active in her communities as the president of the Nassau County Cancer Society and as a hospice volunteer for the Oncology department of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Cooking and sewing were favorite past-times, and she was also a great fan of college football.

Jeannie was preceded by her husband, Philip Keeport Mackert on October 8th of 2013. She is survived by her brothers Charles and Robert Wildes and a sister Della Sides; her son William Wesley, wife Kristin and her grandsons Reid Wesley, Robbie and Alexander Emerson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville Beach Florida. Memorial donations may be made to the Nassau County Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
