Gayle McInerney

Gayle McInerney, 84, passed quietly Jan. 24, 2022. She spent her adult life and raised her family in Jacksonville and retired from Jacksonville University.

Gayle lived for family, never missing a concert, game, or performance. Kids, grandkids, great-grands, if she could be there… save a chair! She was the mom everyone loved. Gayle also loved to travel. From Maine to the Coast of California, Gayle took a picture of it all, and the Signs that came with them.

Gayle was survived by her children, Ron Soder, Mayan Skenes, Beth Lewis, Joan Raiford, and Susan McInerney; 7 Grandchildren: Ryan, Chele, Melody, Kristen, Max, Brittany and Cheyne, and 2 Great Grandchildren Lukas, and L.J.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2022 in the chapel of Quinn Shalz Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Hopkins officiating. Private family interment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery.
