Gary Miller

Gary Allen Miller, 79, a longtime resident of Jacksonville passed away on September 13, 2021.

Gary was born and raised in Virginia, MN, and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. As an officer in the U.S. Navy, he spent two tours in Viet Nam. His professional life began in accounting and evolved into transportation management, where he spent the majority of his career.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann; sons, Scott (Lori) of North Carolina, and Mark (Teri) of California; grandchildren, Sarah (26), Connor (23), Henry (6) and Grant (4); brothers, David (Jill) of Wisconsin and Timothy (Leanne) of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his daughter, Kelley Lynn (2007), father, Allen (2006), and mother, Pearl (2020).

Memorial services and interment will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 7801 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
