In Loving Memory of Franklyn Anthony Baagoe

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Baagoe, who passed away on July 12, 2026 at the age of 93.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Frank lived a life defined by love, kindness, hard work, and dedication to his family and friends. He was known for his adventurous spirit, creativity and ability to make those around him feel welcome and valued.

Frank devoted many years to his career first in the Navy as an Electrician, then as a Lineman and later became a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist. His patriotism continued throughout his life. Outside of work, he enjoyed running and working on projects around his house and garage keeping everything running smoothly, but he found his greatest happiness spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Joan, his three children, Mark, Dottie and Patti and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter and his son, Franklyn in 2023.

More than anything, Frank will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His wisdom, strength, compassion, and sense of humor touched countless lives. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at 2pm at Quinn Shalz 3600 Third Street South Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250. Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
