FRANK T. CURTIN

Passed away December 31, 2014 with his loving wife by his side. His ability in leadership with compassion taught us all much about the strength within ourselves. He held positions as CEO and President, Vice President and Director with international industrial companies Brown & Sharpe, Ashworth Bros, Inc., Curtin & Associates, Ingersoll Milling, GE and Cincinnati Milacron. These companies domiciled him in England, France, Belgium, Germany and Japan. Conducting business in the languages of many of these countries contributed much to his success.
Frank served in the U. S. Army Military Intelligence, stationed in Berlin during the mid-fifties. He was on the Advisory Board of the International Engineering Program at the University of Rhode Island. Always a great advocate of learning for the younger generation, he spent a great deal of his time guiding and inspiring groups and individuals.
Frank was an avid athlete, a great storyteller and a connoisseur of fine wine and food; thus it followed that gourmet cooking was another of his talents. He will not be easily forgotten by those of us fortunate enough to have witnessed his life. He never gave up and never left anyone behind.
Frank T. Curtin of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, is survived by his wife, Lynn Rose; his son, Chris (wife Wendy), grandchildren, Terra Wessel (husband Jake), Samantha and Remington Curtin of Delaware, OH; his daughter, Stephanie Wilson (husband Jack) of Tequesta, FL; and many friends.
It is anticipated that a memorial service will be held at a later date, although arrangements are not complete at this time. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257 (communityhospice.com).
