Eva Reyes

Eva Reyes, 73, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022.  She was born July 24, 1949 in Cayey, Puerto Rico.  She moved to New York in the 60s with her family and soon thereafter started her own family.  She and her family later retired to South Florida in 1987 before moving to Ponte Vedra, FL in 2016. 

While in New York, she worked as a hairdresser and later on transitioned to teaching cosmetology.  She enjoyed reading, shopping and gardening and loved being a grandma more than anything.  She never missed a birthday and her smile lit up every room.  She is missed dearly.  

Eva is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jorge Reyes; 2 sons, Alexander and his wife, Annie, of Englewood, FL and Edward and his wife, Tanya, of Ponte Vedra, FL; grandchildren, Juliette, Vincent and Luke; brother, Lionel and many nieces and nephews.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at St John Paul II Catholic Church located at 127 Stone Mason Way, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081 with a gathering from 10am-12pm and a Mass from 12-1pm.
