Elizabeth Ann (Weekley) Reber of Jacksonville, FL passed away November 22, 2022. She was born in Ravenswood, WV. She is survived by her husband Jacob of 63 years, daughter Kimberly Hendrickson and husband Edward (Michael) of Bay Village, Ohio, Son David Reber and wife Patricia and two grandchildren - Mark and Jessica Reber of Wadsworth, Ohio. Elizabeth is also, survived by Sister Marjorie Flanigan of Ravenswood, WV, and Brother Roger Weekley of Doylestown, OH as well as several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth graduated from Ravenswood high school where she was salutatorian of her graduating class and a leader in the thespian club. She graduated from West Liberty University where she was on the Dean's List and majored in Dental Hygiene. After graduation, she moved to Akron, OH to practice dental hygiene. There, she met her husband Jacob (Jake). They were married in 1959 and moved to Wadsworth, OH. In 1967 the family moved to St. Simons Island, GA. Elizabeth continued her volunteer work at Frederica Academy where her children attended and was a member of many clubs on the Island. In 1975, Jake's job took the family back to Ohio (Medina). She was involved in volunteer work at the schools and worked part time for a few years as a hygienist.

In 1987, they moved to Jacksonville, FL. She and her husband enjoyed having time to do more traveling. Elizabeth loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and a good neighbor. Her love of reading, crafting, entertaining, cooking and gardening always kept her busy. One of her great passions was being close to nature. Being at their summer home in WV allowed her this opportunity. She was also, able to see her children and grandchildren more frequently there. She was so proud of them and her husband; they always came first in her life.

Elizabeth was a member of Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach, FL.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in Palms Presbyterian Church, 3410 3rd St S, Jacksonville Beach, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorial contributions may be made to one of Elizabeth’s favorite charities: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
