Dorothy Nichols

Dorothy Nichols, 96, passed away peacefully at home on April 5, 2021.  She was born on March 21, 1925, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She grew up in Gary, Indiana, and lived in several places in the Midwest with her husband, Jim, and their daughters.  They moved to Jacksonville in 1978.

She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy (Bill) Moredock of Jacksonville, Jackie (Eric) Simons of Birmingham, Alabama, and granddaughter Nicole (Dustin) Rulien also of Jacksonville.

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, at Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville Youth Ministry or the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.
