Dorores Henrietta Berretta

Dolores H. Berretta passed quietly into the night peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on October 25th, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on May 6th, 1941, she along with her husband Roy raised two sons, Gary and Brian in Deer Park, New York, and finally settled in Jacksonville, Florida.

 As quite the adventurer Dolores has traveled the world by sea and sky experiencing all the wonder and beauty it holds. Dolores remained strong and independent through her entire life. 

She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Margarida and Cristina and her three favorite grandchildren, Kyle, Brianna and Cristian, and all her furry family as well.

As she embarks on her last great adventure, she will be missed dearly. Remembered lovingly and always be held fondly in the hearts and memories of all those that she has touched.

In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to one of Mom's favorite charities Tunnel to Towers, Macular Degeneration or to the charity of your choice in her name.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Historic Church.
