Doris Drost

Doris Drost, 88, passed away September 30, 2018. Doris was born November 10, 1929 in Yonkers, New York. She was predeceased by her late husband of 65 years, William Drost.

Doris is survived by her son, Robert Drost; daughters, Carol Moore, Diane Lauria and Susan Kirk; brothers, Mickey Barnett, Bob Pelepaka and Jack Pelepako; nine grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home of Jacksonville Beach, with visitation 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. A reception will follow at Doris’ church for many years at Ocean Park Baptist Church, 402 16th Ave. S., Jacksonville Beach.
