Dora E. Sartoris

Dora E. Sartoris, 97, passed away on June 8, 2023. She was born on November 27, 1925 in Jeannette, PA to Peter & Julia Avolio. Dora was the most energetic, loving woman with a passion for life, cooking, shopping and most importantly her family. She especially enjoyed and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and an active member of the Sawgrass Women’s Club.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Misner, her son, Doug Sartoris (Kay), her 3 grandchildren, Dustin Sartoris (San), Dean Sartoris (Audrey) and Dory Bergman (Josh) as well as 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Sartoris, son, Dennis Sartoris (Janie) and 3 siblings Yola, Flora and Bob.

Services will be held at Quinn-Shalz in Jacksonville Beach at 11am on June 17, 2023.
