Donald P. Sterling, 61, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away July 18, 2016. Our beloved Donald, son, father, brother, grandfather and friend is survived by his mother, Carole S. Moore; father, Pete Sterling; daughter, Shawn Marie Mitchell and husband Rob; son James Sterling and wife Sarah; brother, Robert J. Moore; sister, Robin S. Orme and partner William Hamilton; sister, Tami Alvarez and her husband Ariel; sister, Jeri L. Brunton and her husband Paul; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Don enjoyed his family, his career with CSX Railroad as a software developer, his dog Bruce and making miniature houses at Christmas time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30th at The First United Methodist Church, 388 1ST Ave S., Naples, FL 34102, followed by a procession to Lowdermilk Park for a Sunset Sermon, with military honors.
