Clarence Leland Covert (Pete) 62 peacefully transcended into the light on Thursday, 11/02/2017. Pete was born in Neptune, N.J. to Clarence & Edna Covert. Married to Lorie Gajo, Together they shared their home with three loving dachshunds (Leilani, Malibu & Muffin).
In his care-free way Pete hitch hiked rides coast to coast on an adventurous escapade! It was during a stop in Florida that he would meet his soul-mate, Lorie. The explorations didn’t stop ~ together they would travel to Rome, hike the Grand Canyon, back-packed in the Smoky Mountains and eventually settle on the island of Kilauea, Kauai. There, Pete would build their cottage, a home strong enough to withstand Hurricane Iniki when million dollar homes fell!
Prayer and meditation is helping me to be at peace and accept what I could not change. My Love, as I listen to the gift of your song “Back to the Ocean” I know we are not physically together, we are still connected sharing an infinite spiritual existence.
