Charline Deckere-Delort

Charline Delort 91, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025. She was born November 16, 1933 in Hagondange, France and immigrated to America in 1952.

Charline lived in Washington, DC for 35 years. Upon her retirement from the French Embassy, she and her husband Daniel Delort, moved to Florida, where they opened a French bakery, worked side by side until Daniel' s retirement. Charline loved Florida, entertained the many friends they met on the way. They had many happy years until Daniel passed away in 2023.

Charline is survived by her brother, Alfred (Giselle) Decker and her sister, Rose-Marie Edwards. She was also predeceased by her sister Blanchette Jones.

The family will hold a private celebration of life.
