Carol Sue Seymour (Mom, Grams, G.G., Aunt Carol, Mama C, and—respectfully—the “Fireball Queen”), age 90, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and unforgettable spirit.
She was truly the life of the party—someone who could light up any room she entered. Known for her love of the Buffalo Bills and Fireball, and for her own fiery personality, she embraced life with energy, humor, and a spark that never dimmed.
Beyond the fun and laughter, Carol was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people you could ever meet. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, seen, and cared for. Whether through a kind word, a shared story, or her famous apple pie and potato salad, she made the world a better place for those lucky enough to know her.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, and her family was at the center of her heart. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Seymour. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Fee; her son, Richard Seymour, and daughter-in-law, Donna Seymour; her grandchildren, Megan Nottingham (Kevin Nottingham), Ricky Seymour (Michele Seymour), Casey Fee (Donyel Gardner), Dustin Seymour (Meghan Seymour), and Carly Beihl (Cole Beihl); and her 10 great-grandchildren: Brysen, Vander, and Rylen Nottingham; Ricky and Maddie Seymour; Caleb and Maya Gardner; Cami and Carsyn Seymour; and Benton Beihl. They will carry forward her spirit, humor, and deep love for life.
Though she is gone, her legacy lives on in every laugh she inspired, every memory shared, and every life she touched.
