Bruce Ellis, 56, passed away September 24, 2016. He was born on July 30, 1960 in Orlando, FL.
Bruce proudly served as a military police officer in the United States Air Force stationed overseas. After serving 8 years in the military, he returned to the United States and continued with a career as a police officer in New Mexico. Bruce found passion in the field of technology and later pursued a career as a software developer leaving law enforcement. Bruce also was a 3rd degree black belt in karate, a pilot, and a lover of Disney World. Bruce had an upbeat, energetic personality and an unforgettable laugh. He was a good man with a kind heart that truly loved his family.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 25 years together, Patricia; mother Ruth; son Alan; daughter Samantha; stepchildren Vincent, Michael and Nicole; grandchildren Luciano, Vincent, Callum, Jayden, Luca and Liam; brothers Jae, Dale and Brian; and sister Cynthia.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL. The family requests that everyone be there at 12:00 p.m. and proceed to lane one.
