Brian Scott Thalinger

THALINGER, Brian Scott. Died June 15, 2025 after a long struggle with brain cancer, with loved ones at his side. Brian brought joy to his family and his many friends, and to his community. He was a man on the move, whether solving plumbing problems, transforming his yard with his wife Kimberly into a stunning garden, cooking gourmet meals for large family gatherings, or entertaining with his unique views on life. Brian is remembered as compassionate, willing to help, and able to smile amidst life’s struggles. He empathized with the human condition. He maintained 15 years of sobriety, was a role model for many, and was always willing to give the 2nd and 3rd chance. Brian inspired all of us as we witnessed how he dealt with life’s challenges.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife Kimberly (Tashlein) Thalinger, his son Kelen Sean Thalinger, his parents Karen & Thomas Brott and Alan & Betty Thalinger, his siblings David Thomas Brott, Emiel (Christopher Martin) Brott, and Kevin (Lindsay) Russell Thalinger . Brian Thalinger will be greatly missed, but never forgotten
