Bobby L. Raulerson

Bobby Leroy Raulerson, age 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and kindness.

Bobby was born to John Decoy (J.D.) and Ethel Raulerson on November 6, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School in 1965, Bobby joined his father in the family business, Consolidated Rigging and Marine Supply. He proudly served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the closely held family company for fifty years, until his retirement in 2022. His work reflected the kind of man he was. He chose the name “Consolidated” when Jacksonville became a consolidated city because he believed in bringing people together. It was not just the name of the business, it is the way he chose to live his life. Bobby believed that people were stronger when they stood together, and he built a company and a life centered on loyalty, integrity, and community.

Bobby was known for his kind heart, sharp mind, and calm demeanor. He had a confidence that put you at ease.

Bobby married Faye Morgan on August 21, 1982. They enjoyed 44 wonderful years of marriage together where they shared a love of travel. Every November, Bobby and his beloved wife, Faye, made their annual trip to Las Vegas to celebrate his birthday. It quickly became a cherished tradition.

Bobby and Faye also shared a love of exploring the world along side close friends, Peggy and Dave Johnson. Their travels took them across the globe. They had an unforgettable trip in South Africa. Bobby often shared a story about taking a business call in the middle of the African wilderness, sharing that a moment like that will “really make you feel alive.”

Among all the places he traveled, Sedona held a special place in Bobby’s heart. Together, he and Faye found peace at Mii Amo, an experience he often said changed his life. It deepened his appreciation for stillness, gratitude, and the beauty that exists in nature and within.

Golf was another lifelong passion of Bobby’s. One of his proudest moments was when he made a hole-in-one. He traveled to courses all around because he loved the game.

Above all, Bobby loved his family, friends, and the life he built with Faye. He showed us that success isn’t only measured by what you accomplish, but by the lives you touch, memories you create, and the love you leave behind.

Bobby will be deeply missed and remembered forever.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents and his cherished grandson, Hayden Raulerson, his two-sling.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Raulerson, his son, John Raulerson, his granddaughters, Haleigh Raulerson and Maya Raulerson, and his siblings, Billy Raulerson, Norma Kling (Rick), and Ronnie Raulerson (Kelly). His large extended family will cherish his memory.

A memorial service celebrating Bobby’s life will be held at Quinn Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville, Florida at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026.
