Bettye A. Crowley

Bettye Ann Crowley, 94, of Atlantic Beach Florida passed away peacefully November 26, 2025.

She was a loved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother known as Gig to her grandchildren and many friends.

Born June 5, 1931, in Winchester, Tennessee a daughter of the late Clyde and Louise Hatchet Walker. She has lived in the Jacksonville and Beaches area for 70 years, She began her working career at The Gulf Life Tower and retiring from Joseph’s Wholesale Foods. She was a member of the Palms Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother, Clyde Lucas Walker; sister, Jean Walker Stophel; twin brother, Joe Walker; and husband of 43 years, Daniel Joseph Crowley.

She is survived by son, Daniel Crowley (Laurie); daughter, Johanna Wingate (Owen); grandchildren, Travis Crowley (Reagan), Lucas Crowley (Amanda), Walker, and Wyatt Wingate; great grandchildren, Maybree, Maren, and Barrett Crowley.

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Palms Presbyterian Church with reception following in the fellowship hall.
