Bennie "Ben" Jordan

Bennie "Ben" Jordan died unexpectedly on August 8, 2025.

Ben was born in Quitman, GA but lived most of his life in Jacksonville, FL. He attended Terry Parker HS and graduated from the University of South Florida after serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps.

Everyone who knew Ben is very aware of his great humor and he never wasted a chance to share a joke. Above all he loved his family and friends. His art talent is well known even though he was never quite satisfied with the work.

Ben is survived by his son, Todd; granddaughter, Hannah; grandson, Jesse; great granddaughter, Grey Hyacinth; special "niece" ,Tonya Steele who he affectionately called "Baby".

A service for inurnment at Jacksonville National Cemetery is scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11:30 am with honors.
