The world lost a bit of its spark on December 19, 2025, when Ben Tyler Stadelman, 61, passed away. Ben was a man of boundless energy and warmth who transformed every room he entered. Born in Pittsburgh, he was a fixture of the JAX beaches and a JU Dolphin. After years spent in Meyers Lake Village, OH, Ben returned to Atlantic Beach—his true "happy place"—to be near the people and salt air he dearly loved.
Ben balanced a successful career as a Realtor and contributor to Penbrooke Enterprises with a legendary zest for life. He was a master of jovial conversation, possessing the rare ability to make a stranger feel like an old friend within minutes. Never without a perfectly timed one-liner or a sharp zinger, Ben’s quick wit and signature sarcasm were always delivered with a warmth that made everyone feel like they were in on the joke. His loyalties were famously divided between the Steelers and Jags, but his devotion to his family and friends was resolute.
Ben’s legacy lives on through his sisters, Tracy Stadelman and twin sister Kristen Stadelman; sister-in-law, Pamela Stadelman (Scott); nephew, Sean Tyler Stadelman, Sean’s wife Jill, and their two children; and niece, Kaitlin Stadelman McIntyre, her husband David, and their two daughters. He held a special place in the hearts of his grand-nephew and three grand-nieces, who adored their "fun uncle" and will carry his spirit with them always. He joins his late parents, Joseph Stadelman and The Hon. Diana L. Stadelman, and his brother, Scott Stadelman, in eternal rest.
The family wishes to thank the incredible circle of friends whose love bolstered Ben during his journey with cancer.
