Beau Smith

Beau Smith, 42, passed away March 12, 2022.  Beau was born in Jackson, Mississippi but grew up in Long Beach, Mississippi.  After moving to Hattiesburg and obtaining a Bachelors of Economics degree at the University of Southern Mississippi, in 2010 he moved to Jacksonville, Florida  where he worked as a financial advisor.

Beau was an avid lover of the outdoors.  He loved skiing, hiking, and camping with his kids, whether it be in a National Park or in his own backyard.  On Sundays in the Fall, you could always find Beau supporting one of his greatest loves – the New Orleans Saints.  It was very rare not to see him wearing some form of Saints gear.  He was spontaneous and adventurous and loved sharing experiences and interests with his children.  Whether it was fishing with his daughter or playing in the family garage band with his sons, he encouraged all of them to make life fun, be creative, and experience new things.

Beau is survived by his wife, Leslie; sons, Noah and Oliver; daughter Lillian; mother Joanna Moses; father Dale Smith (Brenda); sisters, Casey Smith, Lauren Bell and Coty Touchstone; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home located at 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
