Allan Andre Atkins

Allan Andre’ Atkins, age 56, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully Sunday, July 13th, 2025, in the hospital surrounded by family, following a five-year illness. Allan is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy and his two children, Ian and Everett, all of Jacksonville, FL. He also leaves behind his brothers-in-law Jimmy Roche, Mark Cornell, and John Healy; his sisters-in-law Annie Roche, Linda Cornell, MaryKate Healy, and Kristine Monnier; and many nieces and nephews.

Allan was born January 16, 1969, in St. Petersburg FL, beloved son of the late Shirley (Smith) Atkins and cherished grandson of the late Nathanial and Rachel (Everett) Smith.

Allan attended Osceola High School and loved his time playing percussion in the school’s marching band. After graduating high school, Allan enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and proudly served his country from 1988 to 1992.

After earning an associate’s degree, Allan became an experienced CAD Designer and enjoyed working for various Civil Engineering firms in the Tampa, FL area where he lived with his wife and children until 2016.

Allan was a gentle, unassuming man who loved sports, movies, and time spent with family. Our beloved Allan will be greatly missed. A private family service will be held on August 1st.
